The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team released its 2018-19 schedule and it will challenge the Titans early.
The Titans come into the season with high expectations, winning the Region 8 title the past seven seasons and reaching the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament the past six years.
It will be a tough road as they face two teams that finished the 2017-18 season ranked in the top 15 and will host Laramie County Community College, who made it to the national tournament, in the home opener on Aug. 24.
Daytona State College will play Johnson County in the first game of a doubleheader Aug. 24 with the Titans and Golden Eagles squaring off at 8 p.m.
Then on Aug. 26, Laramie County Community College will play Daytona State College at 4 p.m. and the Titans will play Johnson County Community College at 6 p.m.
Eastern Florida State College will wrap up the month of August with a matchup against SW Illinois at 8 p.m. St. Louis Community College will play Daytona State in the first game of the evening at 6 p.m.
The Titans will travel to Rochester, N.Y. for a couple of games Sept. 14-15 at Monroe Community College. On Sept. 14, the Titans will play Monroe College and then faces the hosts Monroe Community College on Sept. 15.
The conference season will begin Sept. 18 when the Titans travel to Polk State for a 4 p.m. match and will open the conference home season Sept. 22 when Broward College comes to Titan Soccer Complex for a 6 p.m. game.
Eastern Florida State College will wrap up the regular season with a conference matchup against Daytona State College on October 20 at 7 p.m.
Region 8 Freshman of the Year Ebony Wiseman scored eight goals and had 11 assists last season and is looking to be one of the leaders this season as the Titans look to make it seven straight seasons with at least 12 wins.
Admission is free to games at Titan Soccer Complex, which is on the Melbourne campus of Eastern Florida State College.
