Women's volleyball team hits road for conference match Wednesday

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will hit the road Wednesday for a Citrus Conference match at Polk State College.
The No. 17 ranked Titans will face Polk State College at 6 p.m. at the Winter Haven Health Center.
Eastern Florida State College is 2-2 in the conference and 11-6 overall heading into another big week of conference games. Freshman Leyre Arroyo Sanchez is leading the state in kills with 192 and is fourth in kills per set, averaging 3.49.
Angelis Figueroa is second in digs (228) and digs per set (3.86) in the FCSAAA while teammate Sophia Iglesias is fifth in assists per set with 7.13.
Polk State College is 5-9 on the season and 0-4 in conference play this season. The Eagles are led by Isabella Ramos who is fifth in digs per set averaging 3.57 while Marina Santos is averaging 2.47 kills per set and has 116 kills.
Eastern Florida State College will return home on Saturday for a match against No. 2 Miami Dade College at 2 p.m. Admission is free to matches at Titan Field House and you can watch the match live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
