Women's volleyball team goes 3-1 at tournament
The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team went 1-1 on the final day of the EFSC Titan Invitational at Titan Field House

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team went 1-1 on Saturday to finish the EFSC Titan Invitational 3-1 on the weekend.
The Titans, who are now 9-4 on the season, opened the day with a victory over Andrew College. Eastern Florida State College won the first set 25-16 and then 25-14 to take a 2-0 lead. They finished off the victory with a 25-10 win in the third set.
Madelynne Daugherty led the attack with seven kills while Jordyn Cox had six kills. Angelis Figueroa had 17 digs and teammate Sophia Iglesias had 23 assists.
Andrew College's Karolina Cortes also finished with seven kills.
The Titans were one of the two last matches of the day as they lost to No. 2 ranked Weatherford College. Weatherford improved to 13-2 with the 25-13, 25-18 and 25-16 win.
Jordyn Cox and Leyre Arroyo Sanchez each had seven kills for the Titans while Emma Cook had six.
The Titans are now 9-4 on the season.
Eastern Florida State College will host Daytona State College in the Citrus Conference opener Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Admission is free to games at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus and fans can watch the match live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
