Titans hosting EFSC Women's Volleyball Tournament this weekend
The EFSC Women's Volleyball Tournament will feature 10 teams including four nationally-ranked teams including the top three teams in the latest NJCAA Division I National Poll released on Tuesday
The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team is hosting the first EFSC Women's Volleyball Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
The tournament will host 10 teams including four nationally-ranked teams including the top three teams in the latest NJCAA Division I National Poll released on Tuesday.
No. 1 Miami Dade College, No. 2 Weatherford College and No. 3 Florida SouthWestern State College will all be competing along with the host Titans who are No. 12 in the national poll.
The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. both Friday and Saturday with five matches scheduled for each of the two courts each day at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.
The Titans will take the court at 9 a.m. Friday against USC Lancaster with Daytona State College playing Andrew College on Court 1.
Miami Dade College will play Jefferson College at 11:30 a.m. with Polk State College facing Lake Land College on Court 2.
Each team will play twice each day with the Titans playing again at 4:30 p.m. against Lake Land College.
The featured match of the day will be at 7 p.m. when No. 2 Weatherford College will play No. 3 Florida Southwestern.
Day 2 will begin with Miami Dade playing Lake Land College on Court 1 and Polk State playing USC Lancaster on Court 2. The Titans will face Andrew College at 11:30 a.m.
No 1 Miami Dade will play No. 2 Weatherford at 2 p.m. on Court 1. The Titans will play Weatherford College at 7 p.m. to wrap up the tournament.
Admission to the tournament is $13 per day or $20 for the tournament and you need to purchase them in advance here.
