"Tough day with the wind. We hung on there well on the first nine but when the winds kicked up to 20-plus miles per hour it became a struggle," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "We need to play a little better and do much better with our short iron approach shots. We are still within reach but would do well to put up a good round tomorrow."
Eastern Florida State College will tee off in the third round of the tournament at Oakwood Country Club on Wednesday.
