Women's golf team places fourth, Mila Tang wins individual title at Kinderlou Forest event

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team finished fourth at the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite in Valdosta, Georgia on Tuesday.
Sophomore Mila Tang birdied the final hole of the third round to finish in a tie with SCAD Savannah's Yunyi Luo and force a playoff for the individual medalist. Tang would par the first playoff hole to clinch the title. Tang shot even par in the final round and was 4-over for the tournament. It was her first individual title of the season after missing the fall season.
Eastern Florida State College shot a 307 in the final round and finished at 930. SCAD Atlanta won the tournament, shooting a 302 in the final round. Dalton State was second and SCAD Savannah third.
Konstanze Anglett finished in sixth place overall, shooting a 3-over 75 in the final round and was 8-over for the tournament. Teammate Blair Powers continued to move up the leaderboard after the rough first round, finishing with a 4-over 76 and finished tied for 17th overall.
Vivian Luu shot an 84 and tied with teammate Margaux Blais who had an 85 for 38th overall.
"Good battle all day for her and excellent finish. Good job by Konni and Blair hanging in there. We need to get healthy and heal up before our next event, the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
The Pfeiffer Spring Invitational will tee off March 2 in Sunset Beach, North Carolina.
