Women's golf team opens spring season Monday

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team will open the regular season on Monday in Georgia.
The Titans will tee off on Monday morning in the Coastal Georgia Women's Winter Invitational played at the Jekyll Island Golf Club in Jekyll Island, Georgia. The tournament, hosted by Coastal Georgia, will feature 10 ranked programs in their division including three top 10 teams in the NAIA.
Keiser University comes into the tournament ranked No. 1 in the NAIA national rankings with SCAD Savannah ranked sixth and Southeastern University is ninth.
The Titans will begin the spring season ranked sixth in the NJCAA Division I poll with Palm Beach State College ranked ninth.
Eastern Florida State College's Mila Tang is back on the course after finishing 12th at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in her freshman season.
"It is a very good field at a good venue. It will be a good test for the team," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
Murray State (OK) is ranked fifth in the NJCAA Division II poll.
The 15-team tournament is scheduled for two rounds on Monday with the final round scheduled for Tuesday morning.
