Women's golf team places ninth at Fall Slam
The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team finished ninth overall at the Flagler Fall Slam on Tuesday
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team finished ninth overall at the Flagler Fall Slam on Tuesday.
The Titans shot a 316 in the final round of the tournament at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine.
Freshman Margaux Blais finished 26th overall after shooting a 76 in the final round. Teammate Blair Powers had a 77 and finished tied for 27th.
Sophomore Ann Burel had a 75 on Tuesday and finished tied for 35th overall. Vivian Luu shot an 88 and Konstanze Anglett had a 90.
"Another tough day. The golf course played hard in the wind and we struggled adjusting to it," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "Plenty of areas to address in the offseason."
The Titans will take a break before starting the championship season in the spring.
