Women's golf team in Georgia for Dalton State event

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team will head to Georgia for the Dalton State Kinderlou Forest Invitational beginning Monday.
The Titans are coming off a 10th-place finish at the World Golf Invitational in the season opener in St. Augustine. Freshman Sarah Knitter tied for fourth place overall in her first spring event.
Eastern Florida State College will be one of eight teams competing in the two-day tournament at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia. Three of the eight teams are ranked in the top 10 in the GolfStat NAIA national poll.
Southeastern University is No. 3 in the poll while host Dalton State is fourth and Cumberland University is No 8.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the tournament No. 4 in the GolfStat NJCAA Division I top 10 poll.
