Lazarevic named FCSAA Division I Player of Week

Eastern Florida State College women's basketball player Milica Lazarevic had a big day against South Georgia Tech and is the FCSAA Division I Player of the Week.

The freshman from Serbia had 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds and had four assists in the victory. It was just the second game of the season for Lazarevic as she is averaging 20 points and 7.5 rebounds.

It is the first time Lazarevic has been named the FCSAA Player of the Week and the first time since Amelia Hassett in 2024.

The Titans are now 3-1 on the season as they prepare for the Pensacola Thanksgiving Classic this weekend.

Eastern Florida State College will play No. 5 Northwest Florida State College on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and then will face host Pensacola State College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
