Women's basketball team heads to Daytona State Wednesday night

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will travel to Daytona State College for a Citrus Conference game Wednesday evening.

The No. 20 ranked Titans come into the matchup with 20 wins for the fourth straight year and will face the Falcons for the third time this season looking for the series sweep.

Eastern Florida State College is averaging 88 points in the two wins against Daytona State College this season and is averaging 72.6 points per game this season. Freshman Jalai O'Neal is averaging 11.5 points per game against the Falcons and 10.6 this season.

Sophomore point guard Ashleigh Battle has scored at least 12 points in four of the past five games while teammate E'Zaria Adams has scored at least 10 in four of the past five and is averaging 11.3 points per game.

Daytona State College has won two of the past three games and the duo of Destinie Gordon and Kyaija Stewart each had 16 points in a loss to Miami Dade. Catalina Roco has scored at least 12 points in each of the past two games and is averaging eight points per game.
