Men's cross country team places 16th in NJCAA Half Marathon

The Eastern Florida State College men's cross country team placed 16^th at the NJCAA Half Marathon Championships Tuesday morning in Virginia.

The Titans were led by freshman Morgan Vici who finished his first season with a 71^st-place showing in his first half marathon, finishing in one hour 16 minutes and 17 seconds. Teammate Miguel Perez-Santiz finiahed a minute behind him, placing 80^th in 1:17:17.8.

Joey Coyle crossed the finish line at 1:17:45.5 while Joshua Torres finished in 1:18:01.9 and Nick Hernandez ran a 1:20:04.7. Noah McCann finished in 1:20:19.7 and Colin McAdams crossed in 1:22:15.4.

Iowa Western won the title with Salt Lake finishing second. Iowa Western's Barnabas Ndiwa won the individual title in 1:03:47.1.
