Men's soccer team gets rematch with Cowley today

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will face Cowley County Community College Tuesday for a spot in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament semifinals Tuesday afternoon at Daytona.
The Titans, who are the No. 6 seed, defeated Murray State College on Monday in a Pool C game and now faces Cowley for the Group C title. Cowley defeated Murray State 3-1.
In the Titans tournament opener Joao Victor Loureiro, Liam Kuemmritz and Henry Crosthwaite all scored goals.
Cowley also scored three goals and had three different goalscorers. Shuto Sasaki gave the Tigers the lead in the first half while Renan Syrio and Leonardo Leitao both scored in the second half.
Last season the two teams met in the semifinals of the national tournament in Wichita as Cowley picked up the 2-0 win and went on to the final, losing to Iowa Western.
Tuesday's game will be the third game of the four games that will decide the semifinals which will be on Thursday.
Admission to games at Daytona State College are $20 per day and $60 for an all session pass. Parking is free and located on the west and south side of the stadium. Fans can also watch the games on the NJCAA Network on pay per view.
