Men's soccer team will play USC Lancaster Friday at Daytona

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will play USC Lancaster at Daytona State College on Friday afternoon.

The No. 4 ranked Titans will look to rebound from their first loss of the season, facing USC Lancaster who is 7-7 on the season.

The Titans come into the matchup 8-1-1 on the season and have scored 39 goals in 10 games this season. Stephen Gilbert leads the team with six goals while both Liam Kuemmritz and Joao Victor Loureiro each have five goals this season. Three other players have scored four times.

While the Titans have scored 39 times they have allowed just 12 goals this season. Will Blease has become the starter and has three shutouts in his six starts this season.

USC Lancaster has won two of the past three games and has outscored opponents 13-4 in those three games. The trio of Andy Riveria, Matthew Robles and Vinicius Teixeria each have four goals apiece for the Lancers as 10 players have more than one goal this season.

Friday's game at Daytona State College will begin at 4 p.m.
