Men's soccer team opens conference season at Miami Dade

The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will head to Miami for the Region 8 Conference opener on Wednesday night.

The second-ranked Titans, who are 6-0 on the season, will play Miami Dade College at 7 p.m. in Miami. Eastern Florida State College is averaging over five goals per game this season and has recorded two straight shutouts.

Miami Dade College has played a tough schedule and heads into conference play 2-6-2 on the season. The Sharks are led by the duo of Cheick Dounkasse and Jeremy Levivier who each have three goals and an assist this season.

Eastern Florida State College's Stephen Gilbert who has six goals which is tied for the lead in the FCSAA. Gilbert also has five assists this season. Teammate Ryoyu Shibata has four goals along with Liam Kuemmritz, Vitor Mendonca and Joao Victor Loureiro.
