Alex Alexis found the back of the net in the 87th minute to give the Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team a 2-1 victory against No. 14 Illinois Central.
Danilo Orsi-Dadomo had the assist on Alexis' second goal of the season as the No. 17 Titans improved to 4-2 after a perfect weekend in Missouri.
"I am very happy with our team effort, everyone played a part in two big-time team wins to end a tough road trip with a 2-0 record," Eastern Florida State College men's soccer coach Oliver Twelvetrees said.
Siegle Knight opened the scoring with his third goal for the Titans early in the second half on an assist by Alex McLennon.
The Titans will open the Region 8 conference season on Friday night when they host Broward College, who is already 2-0 in the conference, at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
