For the first time, the Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team walked off the Titan Soccer Complex field without at least a tie.
Florida National came in and shocked the Titans, scoring twice in a three-minute span late in the second half and then the game winner in double overtime to post the 3-2 win.
After a scoreless first half, the Titans got on the board first with 23:39 left in regulation as J.J. Donnelly chipped one past the keeper for his second goal of the season.
It looked like the goal may stand but Florida National found the equalizer off a corner kick with 9:24 remaining and two minutes later took the lead.
But Eastern Florida was not finished as defender Rushane McClymont tied things up with 4:40 left in regulation.
The teams held each other in check through the first overtime but the second overtime belonged to Florida National and with 4:59 left they hit a hard shot that goalkeeper Bryce Notardonato touched on his diving attempt, but it trickled into the net.
The loss dropped Eastern Florida to 2-2 on the season. The Titans will host Chivas in an exhibition match at 7 p.m. Friday night before a trip to Missouri in two weeks to face Illinois Central College and Jefferson College.
