The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team finished second at the Glenlakes Invitational in Foley, Alabama.
The Titans shot 5-under 285 in the final round but it wasn't enough to catch Central Alabama Community College who won the team title by six strokes.
Eastern Florida State College's Sean Jacoby placed second in the tournament after shooting a course record 62 in the final round and finished one stroke behind individual medalist Grant Goslin of Central Alabama.
Jacoby started the round with four straight birdies before a bogey on the par 3 fifth hole. He made the turn 4-under and then birdied five in a row and six of the nine holes on the back nine.
Horace Pennix finished tied for eighth overall after shooting a 76 in the final round.
Nolan Hyatt shot a 2-under 70 after shooting 1-under on both the front and back nines in the final round to place tied for 10th.
Trey Farnsworht shot a 75 and finished in 17th place while Zach McGoffin placed 18th after a 76 in the final round.
"Good to see more birdies from the team, we picked up 11 shots on Central Alabama and with better balance, we can keep chipping away," Eastern Florida State College men's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
The men's golf team will compete in the Nova Southeastern Invitational on March 23 and 24.
