Men's golf team struggles in first round

The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team struggled in the first round of the NJCAA Division I National Tournament at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas on Tuesday.

The Titans shot a 311 in the first round and are in 20^th place after one round.

Micke Laurelli shot a 3-over 75 and is in 48^th place overall in the tournament while Hugo Griesheimer shot 6-over and teammates Masen McKain and Horace Pennix each shot 7-over. Daniel Byers finished at 10-over.

The Titans will tee off at 9:20 a.m. for Round 2 in Kansas.
