Men's basketball team picks up third straight conference win

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball won its third straight conference game on Wednesday night at Titan Field House.
The Titans improved to 4-3 in the conference with the 85-75 victory against St. Petersburg College on WEFS-TV.
The game got off to a slow start but a 3-pointer by Misael Cruz Rodriguez hit a 3-pointer to give the Titans a 17-10 lead as the Titans went on to head into halftime leading 34-28.
Eastern Florida State College came out in the second half with an 11-2 run and the lead would reach 20 points on a basket by Nick Oliver. St. Petersburg went on a 6-1 run to cut the lead to nine and it would remain there as the Titans would go on to pick up the win.
Sean Register Jr. finished with 29 points and six rebounds in the win. It was the fourth straight game that Register Jr. scored at least 21 points and the third time he has scored 29 points in a game this season.
Misael Cruz Rodriguez would finish with 13 points and six players scored at least eight points in the contest.
St. Petersburg's Nadma Musonda had 29 points while Michael Moten finished with 17.
Eastern Florida State College will be back at Titan Field House on Saturday at 4 p.m. when Polk State College comes for a Citrus Conference game. Admission is free and fans can watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
