Men's basketball team faces St. Petersburg Wednesday in conference matchup

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will host St. Petersburg College Wednesday night in a Citrus Conference battle of teams on winning streaks.
The battle of Titans will begin around 7 p.m. after the women's basketball game and will be broadcast live on WEFS-TV.
Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup on a two-game win streak and is now 3-3 and tied for fourth in the Citrus Conference standings.
Freshman Sean Register Jr. comes into the game averaging 24.1 points in 20 games and has scored at least 21 points in each of the past four games. The 24.1 points leads the FCSAA in scoring and is third in the nation.
On Saturday Register Jr. scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the year.
Teammate Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo is coming off a 19-point performance on Saturday and is averaging 12.8 points per game this season.
St. Petersburg has won three games in a row and are coming off a win against Hillsborough Community College. Nadma Musonda and Michael Moten are both averaging double figures this season for the Titans.
