The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will host Hillsborough Community College in a Citrus Conference game Wednesday night.
The Titans, who are ranked 24th in the latest national poll, come into the contest 5-1 in the conference and are coming off a win against Miami Dade College last Wednesday.
Hillsborough Community College is coming off a tight loss to Daytona State College on Saturday and is 2-4 in the conference heading into the matchup.
The game features two of the top five scoring teams in the FCSAA as well as a couple of the top scoring players in the state. Emondrek Erkins-Ford averages 16.6 points per game for the Titans while Austin White averaging 16.5 points for the Hawks.
Both teams are well balanced on offense as four of the five projected starters for each team are averaging in double figures this season.
For the Hawks, Chandler Davis is averaging 13.7 points while Malik Banks is averaging 12.6 and Misael Cruz Rodriguez is scoring 11.2 points per game.
For the Titans, Corey Caulker and Fredy-Salam Sylla are each averaging 12 points while Felipe Patino is averaging 10 points.
