Titan Men Rally to Improve to 5-0 in Conference

Eastern Florida's men's basketball team improved to 5-0 in the FCSAA Southern Conference on Wednesday night with a 64-60 victory over Miami Dade College in Kendall.

The Titans also moved to 17-3 overall. Miami Dade, which suffered its first home loss of the season, fell to 2-3 and 12-7.

Freshman C.J. Jackson led Eastern Florida with 20 points. Classmates Joan Duran and Kareem Brewton added 11 and 10 points respectively.

The Titans had to rally from a 30-17 halftime deficit to take a two-game lead in the conference.

The men next host Palm Beach State (3-2, 17-2) at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Titan Field House on the Melbourne Campus. The home game will be televised live on WEFS-TV and streamed at www.efsctitans.com. Admission is free.

The men then pack up to visit Broward College in Davie on Monday, ASA Miami in Hialeah on Wednesday and Indian River State in Fort Pierce on Saturday, Jan. 30.
