The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost the series opener to Daytona State College Friday at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Titans fell 8-2 to the Falcons and will travel to Daytona State College for a doubleheader tomorrow.
Down 1-0 in the third inning, Shane Thomas drove in Bryce Jackson to tie the game.
Daytona State College scored four times in the top of the fourth inning to go up 5-1. The Titans got one run back in the bottom of the fourth inning as Ray Yero scored after being hit by a pitch earlier in the inning.
Daytona State College would score twice in the seventh and one more in the eighth inning to pick up the win.
Omir Santos and Ethan Askin each had three hits in the game for the Titans.
Saturday's doubleheader at Daytona State College will begin at 2 p.m.
