The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost a non-conference game on the road Tuesday evening.
The Titans, who are now 15-21 0n the season, lost to Polk State College 9-4.
Down 3-0 in the third inning, Omir Santos hit a two-run single that scored both Jackson Wargo and Chris Carroll.
But Polk State would take an 8-2 lead into the eighth inning when the Titans once again scored two runs as Jackson Wargo scored on an error and then Ethan Askin hit an RBI single to make it 8-4.
Polk State would score a run in the bottom of the eighth to make it 9-4.
Eastern Florida State College will host the State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota on Thursday evening in the first of a three-game series. Thursday's game at Bruce Bochy Field will begin at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
