Baseball team set to open series with College of Central Florida
The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will open a Citrus Conference series against the College of Central Florida on Thursday.

The Titans are coming off a win on Tuesday against South Florida State College and come in 13-16 overall and 6-9 in the conference.
The College of Central Florida is receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division I national poll and are 11-4 in the conference. The Patriots come into the matchup winners of six in a row.
Offensively the College of Central Florida is hitting .319 this season led by Victor Martinez who is hitting .445 this season with 44 RBI which are both in the top five in the FCSAA. Teammate Jose Correa is hitting .374 in 25 games for the Patriots.
Eastern Florida State College is led by Andrew Prieto who is hitting .380 in 23 games with 22 RBI while teammate Hutson Guinn is hitting .364 in 18 games for the Titans. Bryce Jackson is leading the team with 26 RBI and is hitting .291.
