The Eastern Florida State College baseball team picked up a non-conference win against South Florida State College Tuesday afternoon at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Titans improved to 13-16 with the 18-5 win in seven innings.
After going down 1-0 in the top of the first inning then Titans scored six times in the bottom of the first inning highlighted by two-run singles by Ray Yero and Bryce Jackson.
In the bottom of the third inning Jacob Miller hit a two-run single to make it 12-3 and then a double by Jake Richardson had a two-run double and it was 14-3. Richardson scored on a Jackson double to make it 15-3.
Jacob Miller went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI with a double while Yero went 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored three times. Steel Mientkiewicz and Drew Gaskins each scored three times.
Eastern Florida State College will host the College of Central Florida for the first game of a three-game series on Thursday at Bruce Bochy Field. Thursday's game will begin at 5 p.m. and admission is free. Fans can also watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
