Eastern Florida State College baseball player Bryce Jackson was named the FCSAA Division I Player of the Week on Tuesday.
The sophomore infielder had a big weekend against Hillsborough Community College as the Titans took two of three games in the series.
Jackson went 6-for-14 last week with nine runs scored, seven RBI and two stolen bases in four games. After going 0-for-3 early in the week, he went 6-for-11 in the series.
For the season, Jackson is hitting .316 in 23 games with two home runs and 26 RBI, scoring 24 runs and has stolen six bases.
Jackson and the Titans will head to Florida Southwestern State College on Thursday to begin a Citrus Conference series with the Bucs. Thursday's game will begin at 3 p.m. in Fort Myers with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday afternoon beginning at noon at Bruce Bochy Field.
