The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost a non-conference game on the road Thursday evening.
The Titans fell to the State College of Florida-Manatee 4-0 to fall to 5-5 on the season.
Couper Gatch got the start and struck out eight hitters over four innings and suffered the loss allowing four runs, two of them earned. Breylynn Courtney struck out seven without allowing a hit over four innings.
Hutson Guinn, Bryce Jackson and Chris Carroll each had a hit in the game.
Eastern Florida State College will return to Bruce Bochy Field on Saturday for a doubleheader against TNXL Academy. The first game will begin at 1 p.m. and admission is free. Fans can also watch the games live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
