Baseball team wins two on final day of Prospect Select Spring Kickoff
The Eastern Florida State College baseball team won both games of a doubleheader against Pensacola State College on Saturday afternoon at Bruce Bochy Field

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team won both games of a doubleheader against Pensacola State College on Saturday afternoon at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Titans finished the Prospect Select Spring Kickoff 3-1 on the weekend with 7-1 and 9-5 victories on Saturday.
In the first game, the Titans scored twice in the second inning and three more times in the third inning to go up 5-1 and tacked on a couple of more runs late to post the 7-1 win.
Steel Mientkiewicz went 2-for-3 with three RBI while Omir Santos had two hits and drove in two runs.
Kyle Hirsch picked up the win in his first start of the season, allowing three hits over four innings.
In the second game Pensacola jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the first inning but the Titans would rally back in the third and fourth innings to grab the lead.
Joey Duprey came into the game in the third inning and tossed four shutout innings with five strikeouts to earn the win. Cade Ginder got the final three outs to lock up the win.
Iziah Santiago and Andrew Prieto each drove in two runs for the Titans.
Eastern Florida State College will play in the Panama City Beach Tournament beginning on Friday. The Titans will be back at Bruce Bochy Field on Feb. 7 for a doubleheader against TNXL Academy beginning at 1 p.m.
