Baseball team hosts Prospect Select Spring Kickoff this weekend

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will open the season this weekend, hosting the Prospect Select Spring Kickoff beginning Friday.
The Titans will begin the regular season against the same team that ended their season in 2025. Eastern Florida State College will play Pensacola State College at 10 a.m. on Friday at Bruce Bochy Field. The two teams met in the FCSAA Division I Play-In game with Pensacola State taking the win, 9-3.
It will be the first of three games on Friday as Pensacola State will play Cleveland Community College at 2 p.m. and then the Titans will play Cleveland Community College at 6 p.m.
Admission to Bruce Bochy Field is $13 per day for the tournament.
On Saturday, Eastern Florida State College will begin the day with a rematch against Cleveland Community College at 10 a.m. with Pensacola State and Cleveland Community College at 2 p.m. The tournament will wrap up with the Titans facing Pensacola State College at 6 p.m.
The baseball team won 29 games last season and made the postseason for the first time in eight seasons. Bryce Jackson is back for the Titans after hitting .333 in 44 games last season.
Pensacola State College won 27 games last season and went on to fall in the FCSAA Fort Myers Regional. Kaden Wilks is back after hitting a home run and driving in four against the Titans in the play-in game. Taft Middleton hit .351 for Pensacola last season and is back as is Makaio Cisneros who got the win with six solid innings and will be back as well.
Cleveland Community College is coming off a 39-win season and reached the Division II Region 10 Baseball Tournament. The team is coming off a historic season offensively, setting school records in runs per game (8.26), team batting average (.311) and doubles with 114. Both Cruise Arnold and Riley Stiles are back and lead a talented team into the 2026 season. Arnold finished with 48 RBI and hit .350 in 48 games while Stiles stole 30 bases and hit .384 in 46 games.
Admission to the games this weekend is $13 per day at Bruce Bochy Field on the Melbourne campus. Fans can also watch the games live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
