The Eastern Florida State College baseball team hit five home runs to win the final game of a three-game series with Indian River State College.
Garrett Evans had a huge day at the plate, coming a triple from the cycle in the 15-4 win on the road Saturday afternoon. Evans finished 4-for-5 with four RBI and scored twice in the game. The redshirt freshman hit his sixth home run of the season and also had a double.
Chet Moore, Lake Fisher, Kyle Dentmon and Tyler Isenberg also hit home runs in the game for the Titans, who are now 1-5 in the Southern Conference.
Fisher and Dentmon each drove in three runs in the game.
JT Larson and Chase Victor combined for 5 2/3 innings of shutout baseball, allowing just two hits.
Eastern Florida State College will travel to Palm Beach State College Wednesday to begin a three-game series with the Panthers. The two teams will play at Bruce Bochy Field Friday at 4 p.m.
