Baseball team defeats Central Pointe Christian Academy

The Eastern Florida State College baseball team defeated Central Pointe Christian Academy 20-5 Friday at Bruce Bochy Field.
Jason Blackstone drove in four runs while Connor Leary and RJ Diaz each drove in two as the Titans offense scored 20 runs on 13 hits over seven innings. Catcher Drew Cavanaugh scored four times while Diaz and AJ Mathis each scored three times.
Starting pitcher Chase Victor allowed two runs over four innings for the win, striking out five.
The Titans will travel to Daytona State College Wednesday for a 3 p.m. game.
