EFSC has 95 student-athletes make FCSAA All-Academic team
Eastern Florida State College had a school-record 95 students named to the FCSAA All-Academic Team
Eastern Florida State College student-athletes once again excelled in the classroom this year as the Florida College System Activities Association named 95 Titans to the All-Academic team.
The 95 student-athletes is a record for the school for the second straight season, topping last season's 89 that were honored. The student-athletes had to have a grade point average over 3.30 this season and 11 student-athletes finished with a 4.0.
Volleyball players Sarah Henault and Emma Kiser, women's basketball players Jaidyn Koerdt and Rosa Redondo Sorribes, women's soccer player Kamara Simmons, baseball player Jonathan Padilla, men's basketball player Matus Malovecs, softball player Madison Ford, women's tennis player Laura Yans, men's tennis player Konstantin Kukaras and women's golfer Brittany Odic all finished with 4.0 grade point averages.
Kiser and Sorribes make the 4.0 grade point list for the second straight season.
All 13 sports had at least one player make the All-Academic team with the men's soccer team leading the way with 16 players honored. The women's soccer, volleyball and women's basketball team each had 11 players honored.
