Eastern Florida State College baseball player Ethan Askin helped his team to a series win and is the Orlando Health Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 19.

Askin went 7-for-10 as the Titans won two of three in a Citrus Conference series against Santa Fe. After losing the first game, the Titans would win both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday at Bruce Bochy Field.

The sophomore went 4-for-4 in the first game, driving in two runs and then had a big two-run double in the second game to help the Titans pick up the 3-2 win.

In 22 games, the catcher is hitting .417 this season with 17 runs batted in.

The baseball team will be home Tuesday for a non-conference game against the State College of Florida-Manatee at Bruce Bochy Field. Game time is 5 p.m. The Titans will open a conference series with St. Petersburg on the road Thursday.
