Titans men's golf team finishes fifth in Panther Invitational
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team had the best round of the day to jump to fifth place in the Florida Tech Panther Invitational at Duran Country Club
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team had the best round of the day to finish fifth in the Florida Tech Panther Invitational at Duran Country Club on Tuesday.
The Titans shot 289 in the final round which was the second-best round of the tournament and best of the day.Florida Southern, who shot the best round on Monday afternoon won the tournament with a total score of 882.
Brad Bawden led the Titans, shooting a 69 in the final round to place tied for fifth overall with a 6-over 222 for the tourney. Gregory Darnell shot a 73 in the final round and finished tied for 20th. Ryan Rozic finished with a 72 in the final round to finish 13-over and tied for 27th while Mathieu Echelard shot a 230 and Tyler Bennett shot a 75 in the final round.
The Titans will travel to the Barry University Buccaneer Invitational April 3-4.
