Titan men's golf places seventh in McDonough Cup
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team placed seventh at the McDonough Cup hosted by Rollins College
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team placed seventh in the McDonough Cup event held at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando.
The Titans were led by Brad Bawden who shot a final round 4-under 68 to finish tied for 11th in the event. Teammate Ryan Rozic placed in a tie for 27th shooting a final round 74. Fraser Davren also shot a 74 in the final round and placed in a tie for 42nd while Kyle Decenzo was tied for 46th and Greg Darnell shot a 79 in the final round.
"Super round by Brad, played solid all three rounds and his putts fell today," Eastern Florida State College men's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "The team hung in there well, it was a good event for everyone to experience."
Host Rollins won the McDonough Cup, finishing three-under 861 for the three rounds. Flagler College was second.
Eastern Florida State College will head to Alabama for the Central Alabama Collegiate Invitational Nov. 7-8.
