Men's soccer team has big day against Webber International JV

Eight different players scored goals as the Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team defeated Webber International JV 9-0 Friday night at Titan Soccer Complex.

The Titans have now won four straight games and have scored at least four goals in five of the nine games this season.

Sophomore Danilo Orsi Dadomo got the night started just under 10 minutes into the contest depositing a loose ball into the back of the net from close range. It was Orsi-Dadomo's 12th goal of the season. It would remain 1-0 for most of the first half until Franco Guglielmucci scored for the second straight game with six minutes left in the first half.

Less than a minute later, Chaim Roserie got loose on a breakaway and beat the keeper to make it 3-0. As the clock ticked down for halftime, Seigle Knight scored his first goal of the season as the Titans headed to halftime up 4-0.

The Titans came out in the second half just like they finished the first half – aggressive. Dylan Moreira hit a nice low shot from outside the box to make it 5-0. Three minutes later Jai-Zel Smith-Deshields scored his first goal of the season. Roserie would add a second goal and Jimmy Mwanga and Alex Alexis would also score for the Titans.

Eastern Florida State College is now 7-2 on the season and will return to Region 8 Conference play Tuesday night, traveling to Daytona State for a battle for first place in the conference. Game time is 7 p.m.
