Three baseball players make all-Southern Conference teams

Three Eastern Florida State College's baseball players have been named to the all-Southern Conference teams.

Titans pitcher J.P. Williams and infielder Cristian Sanjurjo made the first team while outfielder Paul Castillo was named to the second team.

Williams was versatile this season, beginning the season as the closer for the team and moved to a starter after injuries in the rotation. The sophomore from Melbourne went 8-1 with a 2.30 ERA, striking out 56 in 54 2/3 innings of work. He also had four saves.

Sanjurjo hit .381 this season playing second base and shortstop for the Titans. The sophomore started 44 games and scored 26 runs and drove in 22 more runs and finished the season on a five-game hit streak.

Castillo moved to the outfield this season and hit .329 in 47 games, hitting three home runs and scored 28 runs, driving in 24 others. The sophomore from Miami had 16 multi-hit games this season.

The Titans finished the season 26-24.
