Rockledge High student earns scholarship to EFSC

Rockledge High rising senior Vachean Colclough was the recipient of a two-year scholarship to Eastern Florida State College at the 26th annual P.J. Wilson and Henry Scott Youth Golf Camp Thursday morning at the Ralph M. Williams Student Center on the Cocoa campus of Eastern Florida State College.

Over 70 young golfers were honored with certificates and had their photo taken with Mr. Titan.

Special recognition also was given to campers in three groups: Roosevelt Jackson's group for beginning golfers who have never played; instructor Isaac Johnson's intermediate golfers and EFSC Golf Coach Jamie Howell's group for experienced athletes.

Winners from Jackson's group were: Most improved: Lauren Odom; Sportsmanship: Emma Carter; Best Attitude: Christopher Stephens.

From Johnson's group: Most improved: Trinity Moore; Sportsmanship: Jackson Spradlin; Best Attitude: Yerik Cywinski.

From Howell's group: Most improved: Gabrielle Fain; Sportsmanship: Kyle Thurow; Best Attitude: Brianna Kertz
