The NJCAA Championship Events Committee has announced that Eastern Florida State College will host the 2019 NJCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship.

The tournament will be held at Duran Golf Club from May 14 to 17 and will be the second time the school has hosted the national tournament in men's golf.

Eastern Florida State College hosted the national championship tournament in 2016 and Kerry Sweeney won the individual title with a 65 in the final round.

"We are very excited to once again host the 2019 Golf National Championship in Melbourne," Eastern Florida State College Associate Vice President of Athletics Jeff Carr said. "We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the event in 2016 and it was great to see some of the very best golfers in the country right here in our backyard; it also is a great event for our community and has a significant economic impact on the area.  I want to thank the NJCAA for choosing Eastern Florida and Duran Golf Club for hosting this great event."

Bids from Sand Creek, Kansas, Odessa Texas and Lubbock, Texas were also considered.

The Titans will host the NJCAA District 4 Championship at Duran Golf Club April 23-24 as they look to return to the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament for the 16th straight season. This season's national tournament is in Lubbock, Texas May 15-18.
